Welcome to the Skandinavienkai terminal
With 800,000 m2, Skandinavienkai is the largest terminal of Lübecker Hafen-Gesellschaft (LHG), one of the largest RoRo and ferry ports in Europe and 24/7 in operation. It is the central hub for goods arriving by truck, semi-trailer and in containers, as well as new and used vehicles on their way to Northern and Eastern Europe. The Skandinavienkai terminal also plays a crucial role for passenger traffic to Sweden, Finland and Latvia. A forestry products terminal perfectly tailored to the requirements of the material takes care of the handling of cardboard, paper and pulp from Scandinavia.
The Skandinavienkai terminal is located directly at the mouth of the Trave. This saves time, fuel and often also pilots. Another strength: the four-lane motorway feeder and the Baltic Rail Gate intermodal facility are located directly at the Skandinavienkai terminal. This means the journey continues from the water to rail or road without any detours. A truck workshop, the harbour building with check-in counters, shopping facilities and restaurants round off the range of services offered at the Skandinavienkai terminal. There is a commercial area with public truck parking In the immediate vicinity, including sanitary facilities, fresh water and electricity. A pool and LNG filling station is planned.
