With 18 RoRo berths, the LHG is Germany's largest RoRo port operator on the Baltic Sea. In particular, the Skandinavienkai and Seelandkai terminals specialise in the handling of rolling cargo. From the Skandinavienkai intermodal terminal, you can continue directly to rail transport or from rail to ship. Modern trailer check systems ensure efficient processes and maximum safety.

With two container gantry cranes, the Seelandkai terminal is optimally equipped for the LoLo handling of containers. However, the RoRo handling of containers on cassettes and roll trailers is also possible at all LHG terminals. The Baltic Rail Gate intermodal terminal at Skandinavienkai is available for transportation by rail. Loading units arriving or leaving via the Seelandkai or Schlutup terminal are diverted accordingly.

Highly specialised equipment, experienced staff: We are one of Europe's largest handling companies for forestry products - and we know what is important when it comes to handling and storing sensitive goods. Our terminals at Skandinavienkai and in Schlutup are specially designed to meet the requirements of forestry products. Our speciality areas include the handling of cardboard and paper in rolls or on pallets, pulp in bales and sawn timber in bundles.

We are your partner for handling general cargo of all kinds. With our 100 t mobile harbour crane, we also lift heavy goods at the Nordlandkai terminal - e.g. from tiny houses to aircraft fuselages. At the other terminals, we use mobile cranes where necessary. In addition to road and rail, the direct connection to the European inland waterway network ensures smooth onward transport.

Whether cars or construction machinery - we take care of the handling and storage of vehicles of all kinds. This also includes the priority loading of time-sensitive goods in local delivery services. With our warehouse maintenance measures and LHG workshops directly at the terminals, we offer specialised service directly on site.

We use high-performance machines for LoLo and RoRo handling of steel products. Whether slabs, profiles, construction steel in bundles, coils or sheets - we have the right equipment - including our 100 t mobile crane at the Nordlandkai terminal. However, the use of on-board cranes is also possible. Goods can also be stored protected from the weather in open spaces directly at the terminals.

The Nordlandkai terminal, in particular, is designed for the handling and stockpiling of bulk goods using grabs, excavators or on-board cranes. With powerful machines, we load and unload sea-going and inland-waterway vessels, trains and trucks. Generous open spaces are available for storage – also covered if required.
