The Ostpreussenkai cruise terminal lies right in the heart of Travemünde on Vorderreihe, a street with a view across to the four-masted barque "Passat" on the opposite bank of the River Trave.
Cruise ships with a length of up to 200 metres and a breadth of up to 25 metres can berth here. The glass terminal building is suitable for accepting calls both with and without passenger turnaround and offers a fine view of the Trave estuary and the bustle of the town centre.
Larger cruise ships can berth at the nearby Skandinavienkai. As the largest cruise ship yet seen in Travemünde, Cunard's MV "Queen Elizabeth" last called there August 2018. Due to construction works no berthing for cruise vessels for the time being.
