Nordlandkai - Check-In
Paper and Timberloads
Special case: Finnforest
- As soon as the signal unit beeps, the driver on the parking area should turn his vehicle on the parking area behind the first barrier and drive to the Finnforest warehouse. This is located before the second gate and can as a result only be reached this way. Once loading has been completed, procedures are the same as with paper loading.
Special case: Hall 93
- In order not to disrupt the smooth running of the port area, drivers carrying out paper loading at Hall 93 are required to leave the port area via the Frankfurter Strasse exit, follow the Einsiedelstrasse and enter the port area again via the Posener Strasse entrance.
- The entrance barrier opens automatically and closes after each vehicle has passed through.
- Drivers park their vehicles on the signposted parking spaces, proceed to the truck processing point and report their load identification number.
- Once the transport details (forwarding and loading) have been confirmed, the transport is registered and the driver gets a pass card and a signal unit. The unit serves to signal the driver when his load is ready for collection.
- When the load is ready, the unit beeps and the pass card is activated so that the driver can drive through the second gate.
- When that happens, the driver drives through the second gate into the appropriate loading sector.
- Once loading is complete, the driver parks his vehicle in the parking area in front of the exit and walks through the turnstile and to the ENSO building. Here, he collects his papers, hands in the signal unit and reports his departure. His card is activated for exit and he can walk back through the turnstile to his vehicle and exit the port area after inserting the card in the card reader.
